How it works

Install the extension and create your account. The account keeps the record of what is backed up, so it survives a new computer.

Sign in to Issuu as usual
Issuustack reads your library through your own Issuu session. It never asks for your Issuu password, and your full library appears with true counts.

Before anything starts you see how many files, how much disk space and roughly how long. Then every PDF lands in the folder you picked.

No. Issuustack only backs up publications in your own Issuu account, while you are signed in to it. It is a backup tool for publishers, not a way to download other people's work.
Can I try Issuustack before paying?
Yes. The free plan shows your whole Issuu library and backs up 2 magazines, so you can check the files on your own computer before you choose a plan.
Does Issuustack change or delete anything on my Issuu account?
No. It reads your library and downloads your files. Nothing on Issuu is changed, moved or deleted.
Do you need my Issuu password?
No. You sign in to Issuu yourself, in your own browser, and Issuustack works through that session. Your Issuu password is never asked for or stored.
Where are my PDF files saved?
In a folder you choose on your own computer, with each PDF named after its publication. Your files are never uploaded to us.
What happens if a backup stops halfway?
Start it again and it carries on from where it stopped. Files already downloaded and checked are left alone, and anything that failed is listed with the reason.
What is the difference between DIY and PRO?
DIY is one payment of $49. It downloads every magazine in your library once, and your list is fixed when your first backup starts, so anything you publish afterwards is not included. PRO is $15 per month with a 3-month minimum term, for unlimited backups including everything you publish later.
Can I cancel PRO?
Yes, from Account in the extension. PRO has a 3-month minimum term: if you cancel in your first 3 months, it stays active and is billed monthly until the third month ends, then stops. After that, cancelling stops the next renewal. Billing is handled by Stripe.
How much disk space do I need?
Magazines are usually between 10 and 60 MB each, so a library of a few hundred can take several gigabytes. Issuustack shows the exact space needed before every backup starts.
Which browsers does Issuustack work with?
Google Chrome on a desktop or laptop computer. Firefox and Safari are not supported.
Is Issuustack made by Issuu?
No. Issuustack is an independent product made by FabMags LLC. We are not Issuu, we do not claim to be Issuu, and we are not affiliated with, endorsed by or sponsored by Issuu, Inc. in any way.
